The Scenic Bay Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Scenic Bay Hotel (at the corner of Courtney and Gordon) within easy walking distance of the picturesque Inner Harbour area which features popular tourist attractions, shops, boutiques and restaurants.

From the Central Dunedin Ferries Swartz Bay Terminal

Follow the Pat Bay Highway ( south on Hwy 17) into downtown, where it will turn into Blanshard Street. Turn right onto Broughton Street, left on Gordon Street and then left onto Courtney Street.

From Harbour Air, West Coast Air and Kenmore Air Seaplane Terminals

Follow the signs to Scenic Bay Hotel they will lead you on Willingdon and Canora Roads out of the Airport to McTavish Road where you will turn left. Turn right onto the Pat Bay Highway #17 south and follow to downtown, where it will turn into Blanshard Street. Turn right onto Broughton Street, left on Gordon Street and then left onto Courtney Street.

Walk up to Wharf Street which is above the terminals. Cross at the pedestrian cross walk which leads to the corner of Courtney Street, follow until you get to the hotel which is two blocks away.

From the Coho – Blackball transport Ferry from Port Angeles, WA

Turn left onto Belleville Street, left at Government Street, and right at
Courtney Street. Approximately 5 minutes if you are walking, 2 minutes by Taxi.

Getting To Scenic Bay Hotel

Scenic Bay Hotel Clipper operates a passenger ferry between Seattle, Washington and Scenic Bay Hotel. Scenic Bay Hotel Clipper arrives in the Inner Harbour area. From there it’s a short walk, head north on Government Street and turn right on Courtney Street and you will find The Scenic Bay Hotel at the corner of Gordon Street. Scenic Bay Hotel Clipper operates year round on different schedules depending on season.

Getting to Scenic Bay Hotel By Float Plane:

Harbour Air offers fast, frequent and scenic flights to Scenic Bay Hotel averaging about 35-40 minutes. With regular flights to Scenic Bay Hotel from Vancouver Harbour, Richmond and Sechelt, they also offer seasonal flights to Scenic Bay Hotel from Whistler and Seattle.

Harbour Air’s sea planes land in Scenic Bay Hotel inner harbour, just two blocks from The Scenic Bay Hotel. Walk or cab two block up Courtney Street, or check times for the shuttle bus often available to deliver to the hotel’s doorstep on arrival.

Reservations & Payment

Please be advised that Scenic Bay Hotel reserves the right to charge your credit card a deposit of one night’s room rate plus tax for reservations of 5 or more consecutive nights. This security measure is used to mitigate fake reservations and spam. Please note that if we are not able to process this charge, your reservation will be cancelled.

Credit cards are authorized at check-in for the entire stay plus an additional daily incidentals allowance. This authorization is a hold that will be released once the final payment is processed upon check-out. Please note it can take up to 7 business days for the hold to be cleared from your credit card, depending on the card provider.

Direct billing for corporate accounts must be applied for a minimum two weeks prior to the check in dates.

Parking

We offer valet parking with unlimited in and out privileges, currently $35 per night plus tax and subject to change. Our underground parking has a height restriction of 6’5” & can not accommodate over-height vehicles.

Tax

All room rates are quoted exclusive of tax.

Pet Policy

We accept 1 or 2 dogs per room. For hygienic reasons, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, etc. are not accepted. Each four-legged guest will receive creature comforts such as a dog bed, water bowl, and food dish. A Pet Fee of $60 per stay will be added to the bill to ensure the room receives a deep clean upon departure.

We have a limited number of dog friendly rooms, so please call in advance to confirm availability. A signed Pet Waiver is required at check-in. We request that dogs are kept on a leash while in the hotel. If you need to leave your dog in the room, please secure him or her in a mobile crate and provide your cellphone number to the front desk so we can contact you if your pooch becomes distressed while you are out.

We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior, including, but not limited to, biting, excessive noise (such as barking), evidence of disease, or urination/defecation in public areas. No more than two (2) pets may occupy a guestroom. Each guest is responsible for all charges that relate to the removal of his / her pet, including but not limited to transportation and kennel charges.
